My teachers at SK Pengkalan Raja often use technology to deliver their lessons. These are the results of an internet based lesson. The students had to go online and find out how to catch a fish. Each group was giving a section to research. They made bubble maps to illustrate what they found out. It was a great lesson and the kids were very focused because they were interested in the method to find the information.
Here the teacher is using the projector to teach them about body parts. It is exciting to see teachers finding a way to incorporate technology in the classroom. We are getting closer to the 21st Century Classroom :)

Sometimes individuals come to the front to read their work. Scary but rewarding.
Another activity the students seem to really enjoy is acting out the conversation/chant. Here they are doing five little fishes, but they are exchanging fishes for their group name. I these were the turtles. haha
We started working on PAL lessons for reading at SJK(C) Yu Ming2. The teachers were very excited about it after the initial attempt. We will continue to try and do things in the PAL format and hopefully see some results shortly.
That is the long and short of what happened in Pekan Nanas in the month of March.
Thank you for reading.
